EM ECW Scholarships at Sabancı University

Sabancı University is in 3 Lots (Lot 14: China,  Lot 11: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Lot 3: Palestine, Israel) under the  framework of the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window (EM ECW), a scholarship programme set up and financed by the European Commission. With a budget of € 15.200.000, it is aimed to give 615 students and researchers the possibility to travel from these lots to Europe, or vice versa!
Scholarships are available to undergraduate (bachelor), graduate (master) and doctoral students, but also to postdoctoral researchers and academic staff members:
Undergraduate: 1000€/month + travel and insurance expenses+ tuition fees
Master: 1000€/month + travel and insurance expenses+ tuition fees
Doctorate: 1500€/month + travel and insurance expenses + tuition fees
Post-doc: 1800€/month + travel and insurance expenses
Academic Staff: 2500€/month + travel and insurance expenses
Duration of Scholarships: 6 to 34 months

Applicants must belong to one of the following groups:
Target Group 1: All students and staff members from third country partners are eligible for Erasmus Mundus ECW scholarships.

 Target Group 2: Nationals from any recognized institution for higher education from lot3, lot 11 and lot 14 countries (Lot 14: China, Lot 11: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Lot 3: Palestine, Israel)

 Target Group 3: Candidates who have refugee status

• POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS WITHIN EM ECW:

Postdoctoral scholarships are available to candidates for a period of 6 months (1800 €/mnt + insurance + travel expenses). The mobility must have started by 1st April 2010.
